We are looking for a Global Payroll Manager who will be responsible for managing the payrolls for our global entities. This person will also be responsible for supporting payroll related projects, providing timely and accurate payroll reporting and data to the business and the productivity, development, well-being and growth within the HR and finance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of EMEA region payroll function
  • Partnering with the wider US and Global Payroll and HR teams to establish the payroll strategy
  • End-to end preparation and accurate processing of all payrolls
  • Supporting payroll related employee queries
  • Lead communication with employees and other key stakeholders to obtain relevant information and approvals required for payroll processing
  • Partner with the HR and Finance teams for payroll input, review, and approval as needed
  • Filing of annual returns for each region, as required
  • Coordination with Tax and Legal teams on any changes to tax legislation
  • Establish end to end payroll in new locations working with our preferred payroll partners as required
  • Create and update payroll processes for the team including, SOP’s, employee FAQ’s etc
  • Manage any payroll related audits, reviews and actions
  • Contribute to payroll projects or wider HR projects providing a payroll viewpoint
  • Keep up to date with relevant legislation changes and ensure compliance across all locations
  • Assist accounting team with month-end payroll activities – preparing journals, accruals, and reconciliations

  • Experience with running Payroll processes end to end for multiple employee groups in a multinational environment.
  • Experience with UK, Ireland, Spain, Sweden and UAE
  • Sound knowledge of relevant payroll legislation
  • Excellent skills in Google Docs, Sheets and Excel
  • Experience of ADP, Blue Marble and Oracle Fusion
  • Experience with using outsourced payroll providers
  • Conscientious with excellent attention to detail
  • Great team player committed to excellent customer service and exceeding delivery expectations
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Proactive self-starter with an ability to work on own without close supervision
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive communication style
  • Experience with international transactions and foreign exchange
  • Great follow up skills, ability to take initiative and drive to completion; think out of the box
  • Ability to develop a strong relationship with internal and external customers at all levels
  • Diplomacy, discretion, and the ability to appropriately manage confidential data
  • IPASS qualification a plus, but not a requirement
