Aon Captive & Insurance Management (ACIM)

Aon Captive & Insurance Management (ACIM), is an integral part of Aon’s Global Risk Consulting group. We help our clients identify, quantify and manage the risk they face. Globally Aon’s Captive & Insurance Management team provide services to approximately 1,400 insurance entities including captives, protected and incorporated cell facilities, special purpose vehicles and specialist insurance and reinsurance companies.

Aon Captive Insurance Managers is recruiting a Risk and Compliance Analyst, to join its Global Risk & Compliance Practice Group, reporting to the Senior Risk and Compliance Manager.

The role of the Global Risk & Compliance Practice Group (GCT) includes working closely with the ACIM Chief Risk Officer, the ACIM global domiciles, and the ACIM Risk Committee to design, implement and monitor policies for ACIM, in order to manage and mitigate risk for the ACIM Group. This GCT team act as a point of escalation for risk and compliance issues for ACIM. There is close interaction between this team, the ACIM domicile offices, ACIM leadership and Aon law.

What the day will look like

The role of the Global Risk & Compliance Analyst includes working as part of the Global compliance Team (GCT) and in particular working closely with the Risk and compliance managers in each location. There is no typical day in this role. Alongside regular activities, the successful candidate will assist the Senior Global Risk & Compliance Managers with ad-hoc projects and will respond to queries from ACIM offices as they may arise. The role includes:

• Providing support to the Senior Global Risk and Compliance Managers in implementing the compliance framework for ACIM

• Under the guidance of the Senior Risk and Compliance Managers, monitor implementation of policies on KYC/CDD, AML, New Business, Directors and Officers and Errors and Omissions
• Monitor and track various risk assessments and reviews as requested
• Assisting the Senior Global Risk and Compliance Managers to monitor compliance of group and local Aon policies and ensuring deadlines agreed are met within the required timeframes
• Participation in internal meetings as and when requested
• Other duties and responsibilities as may be required
