As a member of the front line nursing team within Cavan General & Monaghan Hospital’s, the staff nurse will deliver patient centred clinical care with respect and compassion. Provide clinical nursing leadership and ensure the provision of high quality care, consistent with the mission, vision, values and strategic plan of the hospital. Displaying excellent clinical, interpersonal and communication skills, the staff nurse will have a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research and evidence based practice. The Staff Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards within the model of nursing care practiced in the relevant care setting. The staff nurse will provide holistic, person centred care, promoting optimum independence and enhancing the quality of life for service users. Reporting to: The Director of Nursing or designee
