The Department of Medical Physics and Bioengineering supports health care professionals in the application of the physical sciences and technology to patient care. Activities undertaken by the Department include Scientific and Engineering support, Equipment Management, Quality Assurance, Research & Development, Design Innovation, Teaching, and Training. The Department provides these services to both the hospital and other organisations. Members of the Department are closely involved in post-graduate training programmes for both graduate and technical staff.
