Description:

To create a single point of authority and accountability in the RCSI Hospital Group for the safe and effective operational delivery and performance of day to day clinical services and departments in the Hospital Group. The Chief Operations Officer is a pivotal role within the RCSI Hospital Group and the change process. Operating under a sub-delegation order from the Group CEO, the COO will be responsible and accountable for the following 7 hospitals: Beaumont Hospital Cavan General Hospital Connolly Hospital Louth County Hospital Monaghan General Hospital Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Rotunda Hospital The COO is accountable for the following functions across the Group: • Unscheduled Care • Scheduled Care • Parliamentary Affairs, including Regional Health Forums • Emergency Planning • Community Integration+
