Group General Manager Communications

 

Description:

The Group General Manager for Communications & Information Governance will support leadership at local hospital sites to refine their hospital communication and information governance plans, ensuring legislative compliance with standards and supporting staff involvement and development to build the skills necessary to lead and support change becoming ‘continuous improvers’ and growing local capability. Thus, positioning smaller hospital sites to contribute to delivery and access to selected services.

  • Have a significant track record of achievement as a leader and senior manager in a large complex organisation within the public or private sector
  • Have the capacity to deliver national policies and programmes at a local level
  • Successful track record of planning and delivering major organisational change programmes in a complex environment involving multiple stakeholders
  • Understand the critical components that make up and influence the health services and the interdependencies that contribute to their successful delivery
  • Experience of clinical and/or corporate governance
  • An appropriate 3rd level qualification (at least Quality & Qualifications Ireland Level 8 or equivalent)
