I am in search of an accomplished and driven individual to join the team as the Head of Business Development for the Water Industry. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in Europe and lead business development efforts in the water treatment equipment and technologies sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to expand presence in the water treatment equipment and technology market across Europe.
- Leverage extensive industry experience to identify and cultivate new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders, clients, and partners.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to maintain the position as a leader in water treatment.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and project implementations.
- Prepare and present comprehensive sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to senior management.
- Travel across Europe to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct business development activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in sales and business development, with a proven track record of consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.
- An established network of contacts and relationships within the European water treatment sector.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) across Europe.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional European languages is advantageous.
