Description:
As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial strategy and operations of our client's advisory and technology business. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will have a fantastic opportunity to shape the financial direction of the company, support its growth initiatives, and engage in M&A deals and opportunities that will contribute to the continued success of the organisation.
- Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, to ensure the company meets its financial objectives.
- Accounting and Reporting: Oversee the accounting functions of the organisation, working closely with an excellent Financial Controller, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- M&A Strategy: Identify and evaluate M&A opportunities that align with the company's growth objectives, conducting due diligence and leading negotiations when necessary.
- Risk Management: Implement effective risk management strategies and internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and financial stability.
- Financial Analysis: Perform in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Team Development: Build and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA - preferably Big 4/Top 10 trained
- 10 to 15 years PQE
- Presently in a Senior management role with proven experience as a finance leader in the technology industry.
- Significant commercial and/or business partnering experience
- Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Track record of successful M&A deals and strategy implementation.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative and solution-driven approach.
