Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of the Statutory (IFRS/ IFRS 17) & Regulatory (Solvency II) financial statements for their quarterly and yearly returns.
- Prepare Group Consolidated financials on a monthly, quarterly and annually within deadline.
- Manage the relationship with external auditors.
- Proven experience working with new reporting standards.
- Support finance projects across the Group.
- Preparing financial updates and reports to the Board Audit Committees and Executive teams
- Have oversight of the control environment across all accounting teams within the Group.
- Support the wider Senior Mangers within Irish division.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- A qualified accountant with 7+ years PQE - (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
- Experience in insurance financial accounting and group reporting.
- Proven Consolidation experience under IFRS (IFRS 17) & Solvency II.
- Proven track record in the identification, assessment and implementation of new financial reporting standards.
- Proven ability to initiate, develop, implement and manage project deliverables at a senior level.
- Proven technical financial accounting skills with experience in managing the assessment and adoption of new reporting standards in a regulated environment.
- Strong track record in successfully leading finance teams.
