An essential factor for success in this role is that the chosen candidate will have strong relationships in the waste industry to establish and grow the business.

The successful candidate’s location base will be split between the Dublin office and the processing plants under management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take responsibility for the management of the processing plants in Trim and upcoming transfer stations in Dublin.
• Negotiate agreements with third parties to secure waste supply agreements
• Manage the processing team at each plant to ensure maximum efficiency in processing
• Maintain regular contact with industry players and develop relationships with them
• Report to Senior Management on a regular basis
• Interact daily with other in-house functions including finance, legal and development

• Significant experience in the management of different waste streams
• Experience in management of waste processing and collection
• Driven, self-motivated and ambitions

• Technically competent
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Have a full valid driving licence and use of own car.

Essential

• Prior sector experience in waste management
• Evidence of relationship building in this sector with examples of prior relationships established and maintained.

Remuneration: Range 85k -90k Negotiable
