Your roles and responsibilities

● Continuously incorporate the latest learnings into new growth experiments following a rapid experimentation approach (we use Hacking Growth by Sean Ellis);

● You are taking over the lead for all our performance marketing activities in Web&App and manage a seven digit advertising budget to further drive our subscriber growth with focus on B2C DACH market;

● Work closely with colleagues from Product, Growth, Business Intelligence, Customer Care, and CRM;

● You are motivated to build and lead a best-in-class performance marketing team in-house and collaborate cross-functional with internal and external teams and resources;

● Innovate and efficiently scale our channel mix with a strong focus on Web, Google SEA and Google UAC, Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, Google etc.), GAC and ASA as well as Affiliate Marketing, SEO and other native advertising;

● Define and execute structured testing plans to improve advertising efficiency and guide the process for ad-creative, from copy to asset creation, in collaboration with with designers and copywriters for ad copy, content, landing pages;

● Analyse and optimise our conversion funnel, to maximise subscriber acquisition and conversion in our products together with the CRM & Product teams;

● As a data-driven marketer you will collaborate closely with the Data and Analytics Team to ensure data accuracy and to improve our acquisition tracking, attribution and reporting system;

● Test international markets with tailored marketing campaigns based on a defined customer acquisition cost goal;

● Be responsible for reaching ROAS goals;

● Run A/B tests to experiment with new ideas;

● Monitor and share business growth indicators, recognizing market trends and proactively identify new marketing channels and opportunities.

 

Your essential experience and education

● 5+ years of experience in digital marketing with a deep understanding of boosting paid web traffic and converting them to paying subscribers on our web and app platforms;

● Strong testing mindset - you are eager to build hypothesis, test and optimize the funnel from the creatives to the conversion funnel on the website;

● You like to work operationally and mentor and empower your team;

● Experience in building and leading a small team of 2-3 performance marketeers;

● German speaking (native or appropriate level);

● You speak English with excellent written and oral communication skills;

● You have at least 2 years of working experience in Performance Marketing;

● You have personal experience as a user of digital health, education, or productivity apps/games;

● You are located in the timezone CET +/ 2h;

● You have strong problem solving skills;

● You have a deep interest in analysing engagement, retention, and other behavioural data;

● You are well organised and have good project management skills. You can multitask and manage multiple tasks concurrently;

● You are a teamplayer and love to help out your colleagues;

● Bonus: You have experience with Games or Gamification;

● Bonus: You have experience or talent with UX or Visual Design;

● Bonus: You have knowledge of SQL, R, or Python.
