Responsibilities

 

 

  • Support safety initiatives, accident investigations, site audits, and training.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure safe work systems for manual handling, vehicle safety, and PPE.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Perform H&S checks, audits, and assist in incident investigations.
  • Maintain records and schedule refresher training.
  • Monitor KPIs and drive safety improvements.
  • Advise on H&S legislation and updates.
  • Keep H&S processes current.
  • Train and educate staff on health and safety.

 

Requirements

 

 

  • Educated in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) qualification, along with a NEBOSH Diploma (minimum requirement).
  • At least 1 year's experience in Healt & Safety, advising on legislation and ISO standards.
  • Knowledge of fire safety and risk assessments.
  • Internal/Lead Auditor qualifications.
