Home Services Manager

Description:

The Home Services Manager will report to the National Lead for Home Support Services. The Home Services
Manager (HSM) will lead the delivery and development of all Home Support Services (HSS) in the designated
area in accordance with the policies of Family Carers Ireland (FCI), ensuring the safety of the cared for persons
and the Organisation’s staff at all times. The Home Services Manager (HSM) is expected to increase FCI’s share
of home support hours delivered in their designated area. The Home Services Manager (HSM) will work closely
within a nationwide network of other Home Service Managers (HSM) and support national initiatives where
appropriate.

Role Criteria:

The Home Services Manager (HSM) must possess the following qualifications, skills and experience;

• A Nursing qualification is essential.

• Previous homecare or healthcare industry related experience is desirable.

• Experience in managing a diverse workload and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

• Experience/qualification in working with diverse groups of people.

• Fluent in the English language.

• Strong people management skills, with an ability to work well with others.
