Boulder Media seeks a dynamic HR and Recruitment Administrator to join our team. As part of the HR team you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to the business across of all aspects of HR, delivering best in class processes, assisting with drafting of procedures and practices to ensure the successful execution of the business recruitment strategy and objectives. This is a team-based role where you will contribute to the smooth running of the HR operations of the studio.

This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working arrangements (i.e. a combination of both remote and in-studio working). Our studio is located in Dublin City Centre.

  • Manage and co-ordinate on-boarding and off-boarding of talent including pre-employment, induction, exit interviews, and other relevant duties;
  • Ensure smooth operational practices for all HR initiatives and services by proactively resolving HR issues with the aim of effectively executing the business strategy and objectives;
  • Support strong communication that is transparent and positive for all employees, maintaining channels for bottom up and top down communications;
  • Obtain, collate, and file all employee information, ensure all paperwork required is completed prior to the employee start date;
  • Provide HR advice and guidance to employees throughout all stages of the employee life cycle, ensuring the management of our people is in line with company policies, processes and procedures while also ensuring legal compliance;
  • Maintain and update the Boulder Media’s HRIS and other databases to ensure employee data is up to date and that information is available to support business planning and decision making;
  • Maintain accurate contractual records for personnel such as contracts, job descriptions, extension letters, salaries and any other relevant employee documentation and information;
  • Prepare reports and presentations on HR related metrics and topics as required. To include crew trackers, org chart updates, leave reports and any other HR related analysis;
  • Aid in updating the employee policies and procedures as required from time to time.
  • Assist the hiring managers within the business on recruitment of talent;
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle (including drafting of job descriptions, advertising, and interviewing) to ensure Boulder Media fill all roles within a production schedule timeframe;
  • Partner with hiring managers and the HR team to deliver a high-quality recruitment service to the business;
  • Work with managers and PMs in the studio on scheduling candidate interviews;
  • Take part in interviews with candidates and send out assessments when required for the role;
  • Ensure that the Applicant Tracking System is kept up to date as roles progress through the hiring lifecycle;
  • Send out offer letters and rejections to candidates as applicable;
  • Ensure that hires are communicated in a timely manner to the team the HR team and prepare crew introduction information to be included in crew updates as appropriate. Once complete, ensure ads are removed from advertisements and website.
  • Degree in HR, Business or related field, preferred.
  • A CIPD accredited is desirable;
  • Basic understanding of employment legislation;
  • Strong candidate assessment skills;
  • Experience running recruitment campaigns/processes;
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to multi-task in a busy environment;
  • Strong communication both verbal and written;
  • Ability to display professionalism and discretion as appropriate to a HR role;
  • Positive and proactive approach to problem resolution;
  • Show flexibility in relation to work activities and a proven ability to multitask and perform under pressure;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Technology fluent with excellent computer literacy and experience using HR systems.
