The Role
We are looking for experienced HR Generality to join our HR Team. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will work alongside other members of the HR Team to provide day-to-day support to the business across of all aspects of HR, delivering best in class processes, procedures and practices.

This is a full-time role for a fixed term of 9 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with line management, team leads, the Head of HR and other members of the HR team to ensure HR policies, procedures and practices are rolled out, implemented and adhered to appropriately across the business to optimise business performance
  • Act as a trusted advisor to line managers and team leads on all employee relations, performance, grievance and disciplinary issues by providing a professional and credible HR service
  • Act as a key partner to the business by advising on best practice, supporting the development and implementation of robust and appropriate people strategies and initiatives to the business to ensure achievement of current and future business requirements and performance targets
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle (including drafting of job descriptions, advertising and interviewing) to ensure Boulder Media fill all roles within a timely manner
  • Manage and coordinate on-boarding and off-boarding including pre-employment, induction, exit interviews, etc.
  • Build on the delivery of best practice HR processes and compliance
  • Ensure smooth operational practices for all HR initiatives and services by proactively resolving HR issues with the aim of effectively executing the business strategy and objectives
  • Provide HR advice and guidance to employees throughout all stages of the employee life cycle, ensuring the management of our people is in line with company policies, processes and procedures while also ensuring legal compliance
  • Support a communication strategy that is transparent and positive for all employees, maintaining channels for bottom-up and top-down communications
  • Advise and mentor line management and team leads in the effective operation of the performance management process and contribute to the identification of appropriate development and skills training programmes
  • Support the implementation of Company-wide people initiatives within the business through communication, coaching and effective guidance of team leads and line managers
  • Partner with the business management team in the rollout of HR projects as required in support of the development of the business
  • Maintain and update the Boulder Media’s HRIS and other databases to ensure employee data is up to date and that information is available to support business planning and decision making
  • Report on metrics across the business, as required, (e.g. annual leave balance, leavers and new hires)
  • Prepare, compile and maintain payroll files, liaising with the Finance team, to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll
