Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR professional with circa 2 years’ experience to join our People and Culture team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the management and collation of data with the purpose of generating people insights and supporting a head office HR function providing assistance and guidance at every stage of the employee lifecycle.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
Data and Reporting
- Utilise advanced data skills to create, update, and analyse HR and People related information.
- Lead on efficiencies to develop and maintain complex models and templates to streamline processes.
- Development and issuing of dashboards and KPI reports on key business objectives e.g., headcount, turnover, diversity, time to hire to different business levels
- Conduct regular audits of HR and payroll related data to ensure accuracy and identify areas for automation and enhancement
- Ensure accurate data entry and configuration related to employee rewards and benefits
HR Support:
- Assist with HR operations, including recruitment, employee onboarding/offboarding, payroll, learning and development and information management ensuring both compliance and total accuracy in recording
- Manage queries to the People and Culture team from a variety of sources
- Develop and implement HR policies and best practice procedures in compliance with legislative requirements and company standards
- Work with team on implementation of strategic initiatives while consistently Identifying opportunities to optimise internal processes through HRIS functionality and workflow automation
- Conduct monthly payroll cycle and all related activity with required reporting
HRIS and Administration Management:
- Update the HRIS with accurate employee data including new hires, leavers, changes in job classifications, and other people related actions.
- Generate reports and analytics from the HRIS to support the People and Culture team and management in effective data led decision-making
- Auditing of the HRIS information to ensure accuracy, efficiency and data sources are maximised
- Ensure data security and confidentiality
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the HRIS, coordinating with IT and external vendors as necessary
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with People and Culture team, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll and HRIS operations Provide training and support to HR team and managers on HRIS functionalities and payroll processes.
Candidate Specification:
Qualifications
- Masters/bachelor’s in human resources, or related field. CIPD accreditation is desirable.
Knowledge base
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing and HRIS management.
- Experience onboarding and embedding a new HRIS system maximising functionality and enhancing employee experience.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros).
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll software.
