Description:
Avery Dennison is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the Medical facility located in Longford, Ireland. In this role, you will report to the HR manager and be responsible for partnering with site leaders to provide exceptional HR and talent management support.
Responsibilities:
- Support the HR Manager in delivering employee relations, staffing, and organizational development services
- Construct and analyse people-related data in a way that assists decision making
- Drive internal communications on the site, developing a solid framework for effective communications
- Responsible for recruitment and succession planning to facilitate the hiring and retention of high-performing, high-potential employees.
- Assure compliance with local labor regulations.
- Conduct ongoing information and training sessions to develop employees and provide support and problem resolution.
- Identify potential employee-relations issues and make recommendations to management.
- Manage investigations for any kind of misconduct.
- Responsible for educating and empowering people leaders to manage their teams in line with appropriate processes, policies, and cultural standards.
Qualifications
- Level 8 Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field required
- 4+ years' experience.
- Good strategic thinker with the ability to take moderately complex projects and see them through completion.
- Good working knowledge of HR related systems. Skilled in running reports, analyzing data and report development.
- Knowledgeable on labor/employment laws, HR procedures and practices.
- Skilled in multitasking, organizing and prioritizing work, attention to detail is essential
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills - skilled in communicating effectively with all levels of employees and management.
- Ability to support key HR processes such as Performance Management, Succession Planning
