Exciting opportunity for an experienced HR People Manager to join, an Irish-owned company offering engineering services and project management expertise to telecoms and critical infrastructure customers in the IT, transport and medical sectors. The HR People Manager will be based in Maynooth will occasional visit to the Athlone site.
As HR People Manager you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties to ensure the smooth running of the HR function within this busy Telecoms company.

HR People Manager Responsibilities:

  • Introduction of performance management to the business
  • Manage recruiting processes for onshore and offshore candidates
  • Implement staff welfare and staff engagement programmes
  • Review training needs analysis for the business and develop a plan for same
  • Plan staffing levels with senior management
  • Coach, Mentor and develop the HR admin and identified employees
  • Support the enhancement of companywide communication and engagement
  • Manage employment legislation, employee relations, issue resolution frameworks, staff engagement, training and development
  • Manage relationships with Senior Management team and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure HR processes, policies and guidelines are in place and kept up to date
  • Support the company on all HR matters
  • Partnering with the management team to ensure a positive employee relations and best practices are in place
  • Agree and develop regular reporting data for weekly and monthly meetings

HR People Manager Requirements:

  • A third level Degree in HR
  • Strong communicator and experience working in a similar industry
  • Experience in employment legislation, employee relations and training and development
