Description:
Supporting the Senior Manager Global L&D and Academy Director, this role will manage all current and future-focused project activities. You will work in collaboration with Academy employees and external vendors/suppliers to:
- Project manage key design, translation, communications, delivery and engagement milestones for the CRH Academy’s global leadership development program of work
- Project manage the evolution of the CRH Academy portfolio to include new, future-focused programs over time
- Track and manage the status of project deliverables, milestones, project level risk and issue/decision management
- Coordination of project Governance arrangements
- Effectively develop and execute PMO processes, as applicable
- Proactively manage complex projects and ensure they are delivered on time and to a high standard
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the delivery of the PMO processes as agreed with the Leadership team
- Engaging Workstream Leads to create project visibility and enable effective decision making by the Academy Leadership team
- Understanding/Assessing day-to-day workstream activity and needs to ensure appropriate support is available
- Maintaining all registers, logs and status updates
- Tailoring PM methods to suit the environment and document it in the PID.
- Liaising with external Vendors/Suppliers
- Managing information flows between all management levels
- Monitoring overall progress and use of resources and initiate corrective actions when needed
- Identifying, prioritising and escalating key project-level risks and issues
- Reviewing and proposing recommended actions / approaches for key project-level risks and issues with the necessary stakeholders / forums
- Establishing and managing project procedures
- Establishing and managing project controls for monitoring and reporting
- Establishing and managing project change request protocols and processes
