Hvac Engineer

Description:

The candidate must have direct experience with GMP HVAC systems, to include maintenance, troubleshooting, Alarm Management etc.

Duties will include be will not be limited to:

·        Attend daily morning meetings with facilities team

·        Carry out routine maintenance tasks on air handling units, extract fans etc. (Filter changes, belt changes, pulley changes, tensioning, laser alignment)

·        Troubleshooting of room pressure alarms,

·        Troubleshooting of HVAC faults , temperature control issues, fan control issues.

·        Troubleshooting of Fume hoods, BSC’s , isolators, etc

·        Daily checks on BMS hvac alarms, and management of same.

·        Printing, executing, and closing of work orders via site CMMS/SAP system

·        Co-ordinating with engineering, projects, QA on all HVAC related issues

·        Management of GMP system release forms

·        Management & co-ordination of GMP HVAC requalification testing as scheduled by SAP

·        Management of LOTO for HVAC & Utilities associated loops.

·        Management of smoke head isolations for DOP testing

·        Review and close out of HVAC requal reports.

Qualifications & Key competencies

·        Minimum level 7 in mechanical engineering or related sciences, or trade qualified.

·        5+ Years’ experience in GMP HVAC systems

·        Knowledge of cleanroom standards

·        Motivated, with ability to self-manage

·        Excellent people skills.

·        Punctual, polite and well presented.

·        Hands on ability is essential.

·        Familiarity with GMP, GDP documentation

·        Familiarity with CMMS, SAP type systems.

·        Ability to integrate into overall team as required.

·        Flexible to work on if the task requires it.
