An exciting opportunity exists for a person to join the GIS Information Security Review team. You will have the opportunity to hone your skills and knowledge by being exposed to the multitude of technologies an organisation the size of BoI has deployed; including, the current transformation of all our services to becoming Ireland's leading Digital bank!
The Information Security Analyst is responsible reviewing solutions and services being introduced to, or changing in, the Bank, assessing them for information security control-gaps & technical vulnerabilities.
Types of assessments include: end-to-end on-premise & cloud technical solutions; firewalls changes; new software; and third party suppliers. At the end of each assessment, we report the results to management and other impacted partners.
Conduct ISR's day-to-day assessment services.
Assist in carrying out assessments of the security aspects of a current or proposed solution
Work with other team members, and support them in their security activities
At least 2 years IT experience or at least 1 year in a similar role
Solid grasp of a variety of IT platforms, including Cloud-based
Solid understanding of Information Security standard methodology
Good interpersonal skills & ability to communicate technical concepts & processes in non-technical terms.
Good knowledge of information security and risk control frameworks such as COBiT, ISO 27001 and ISO 27002.
Good technical knowledge of network protocols and related technologies
Awareness of Cybercrime trends and techniques
