Information Security Manager

WANTED: an Information Security Officer for a brand-new permanent role. Hybrid role based in Dublin City Centre.

The primary focus of this role will be to deliver an information security service for a company of 800+ users across multiple countries. Duties will include monitoring compliance to information security policies, managing Information Security incidents and championing standards across the business.

The role is responsible for providing high-level and cross-function leadership and advice to the Department in the area of information and cyber security, working closely with business and technology stakeholders to provide strategic information security advice and assistance, but also taking a hands on approach to elements of security such as operating and maintaining an ISMS, assessing, treating and overseeing risk, and coordinating security incident management, improvement projects, and security education and awareness.

To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate high-level leadership and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and provide credible advice at a senior executive level, as well as capacity to develop and implement effective security policies, processes, practices and standards.

• Prior extensive and demonstrable experience in a Senior level role within financial Services with significant Compliance and risk exposure.
• Can demonstrate a deep knowledge of security policies, regulations, and compliance issues.
• Strong ability to translate complex IT and security challenges and issues into business risks.
• Relevant industry-accepted security certifications (CISSP, SANS, etc.) a plus.
• Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO 27001, COBIT, NIST or PCI DSS.
