Description:
We're currently looking for a Business Development Executive to join the Business Development Team who are responsible for being the first point of contact for sales prospects, engaging potential customers and clients in an effort towards developing sales opportunities to drive the company growth and expansion.
You'll own the lead management process including qualifying inbound leads and performing outbound prospecting functions to drive new business for Nuance Healthcare and Enterprise. You will work collaboratively with our marketing and sales teams to obtain feedback on the quality of MQLs generated from marketing campaigns. Prime responsibilities include establishing, nurturing, and growing marketing qualified leads for the sales pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first line of communication for “warm” customer leads that result from Nuance’s marketing activities
- Follow up with prospects and existing customers from trade shows and events and qualify leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria. Work with Field Marketing, Inside Sales and Field Sales Representatives to move leads to the pipeline and/or buying stage.
- Research and prospect target accounts, identify key players and personas using internet research and social media monitoring/messaging
- Proactively learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Nuance’s products, served markets, industry trends, and competitors
- Set/coordinate customer meetings and/or conference calls, delivery of follow-up materials (marketing material, presentations, case studies, etc.), and maintaining ongoing relationships with warm prospects
- Take responsibility for achieving or exceeding performance and development objectives.
- Maintain the highest level of customer service delivery standards, and work to maintain positive relationships as applicable to your role
- Maintain all prospecting and lead response activity in SFDC
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree required and/or related years of work experience
- Years of experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in an inside sales or marketing role in a large corporate environment
Required Skills
- Time/priority management skills. Ability to follow protocols and work in a time-sensitive manner.
- Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and handle interruptions.
- A high degree of energy and enthusiasm. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Computer proficiency/technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional listening and communication skills and a focus on pr oviding a positive customer experience
Preferred Skills
- 1-2 years of work experience in lead generation.
- Excellent phone and email writing skills
- Experience in SalesForce
- IT knowledge preferred
- Any language in addition to English is a huge plus
