You will get up every morning thinking about developing innovative, engaging learning experiences, training material and instructional content for a global audience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key partners to assess learning needs and define learning outcomes, modality (e.g., vILT, ILT, eLearn, video, blended, etc), and success measures
• Craft and develop learning experiences in different formats that drive outcomes within the constraints of different needs, templates, and systems
• Develop and communicate learning development timelines to ensure timely development and partner/SME reviews and approvals
• Collaborate closely with other learning professionals across the organization to give/receive feedback on learning products, share ideas and standard methodologies, and to promote alignment in learning products.
• Ensure content management strategies are in place and update learning content as needed to maintain relevance
• Provide support and mentorship as needed for administrators and end-users using learning platforms (LMS & LXP)
• Help define standard methodologies for gathering, recording and reporting on global development programs
• Knowledge of Instructional Design standard methodologies with shown ability to craft learning content that is effective and engaging
• Strong understanding of adult learning needs
• Ability to analyze existing content for its instructional value
• Ability to communicate abstract or technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to identify the best learning delivery formats for a specific set of learning goals
• Ability to work within predefined templates and style guidelines
• Attention to design aesthetics and visual detail. Graphic or visual design experience a plus
• Ability to scope and handle the day-to-day work of projects independently
• Excellent writing skills
• Experience and comfort with recording the voiceover for your own screencasts
• Experience with presentation software (e.g., Google slides) & content and documentation software (e.g., Google docs, Adobe Acrobat)
• Content and video development tools
• Experience working with LMS & LXP platforms and course development software (e.g., Articulate Rise)
