About Our Roles:

• Providing support and assistance to promote independence in daily living.
• Administering medication and managing health-related issues specific to the patient.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
• Advocating for the rights and needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Keeping accurate records and maintaining confidentiality.
• Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.

Requirements:

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) as an Intellectual Disability Nurse.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in intellectual disability nursing in Ireland.
• Ability to work flexibly across various settings.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice.
