Description:
Ideal candidates will have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in intellectual property management within a large organisation
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and process development skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, with a preference for an advanced degree or certification in Intellectual Property Law.
Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting to senior management, you will:
- Establish and implement a world-class IP management strategy.
- Assess and recommend advancements to the IP operations maturity model.
- Advise senior management on managing IP risks and creating competitive advantages.
- Lead cross-functional teams on creating core IP processes.
- Manage the company's portfolio of IP assets.
- Conduct regular IP audits and collaborate with R&D to identify patentable innovations.
- Coordinate with legal teams on patent administration, infringement monitoring, and enforcement.
- Support the implementation of a worldwide IP management system.
- Oversee trademark application, registration, and renewal processes.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating IP licensing agreements.
