Description:
We are interested in speaking with candidates who are ACA, CFA qualified and coming from a project/corporate finance background. The ideal candidate will have experience in the renewables industry and/or a passion for climate change, sustainability, and impact investing.
The Role:
The role is divided into two main areas:
- Fund Management-related tasks: A key priority of the role will be to ensure continued excellent performance of the fund and its assets and to ensure continued strong performance and delivery against growth targets. The role will include:
- Maintaining the fund, Investment, and valuation models.
- Monitoring funding requirements and supporting fundraising activities.
- Reviewing and analysis the fund managers dashboard including commercial and technical performance of assets as well as progress against deployment targets and the macro environment.
- Monitoring performance of the fund against stated objectives and budgets and analysing any differences.
- Drafting fund updates, including valuations, for internal review, the board and for investors.
- Supporting senior team in working with portfolio and development partners to seek to maximise value of the portfolio, through strategic, operational and financial support.
- As required, attendance and support at portfolio Board meetings and other key meetings.
- Preparing draft correspondence, presentations, and following up on internal emails.
- Investment Analysis and Execution: We need to ensure the highest quality analytical and transaction support to the senior team, including:
- Supporting senior team members in reviewing new investment opportunities via:
- Building and managing financial models, analysis of financial statements and financial projections for existing and new investment opportunities.
- Comprehensive research and analysis of background materials, market information and financial performance data.
- Assisting in drafting investment summaries and investment papers.
