We are looking for an Investment and Portfolio Analyst within PNC's Asset Management Group Investment Office. This is a remote position that can sit within the PNC footprint, although it may not be available in all jurisdictions. Certain job responsibilities may require in-person, in office activities on a regular basis.

This Analytics role will work with departments across PNC’s footprint, including PNC’s Investment Office, Portfolio Construction, Investment Advisor Research and Market Teams to deliver analytical reports in support of the Private Bank line of business. This role will field a variety of requests including, but not limited to, back-testing hypothetical performance, portfolio statistics/exposures, attribution, performance, and peer comparison. This role will also assist in the training of Investment Advisors on the analytical tools for which they have direct access, particularly MSCI WealthBench and Morningstar Report Portal, so these tools can be utilized efficiently and to the fullest extent possible by the Market Teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • BA/BS in a STEM related degree. Masters is a plus.
  • Prior banking or investment operations/analytics/client reporting experience is helpful
  • Experience using MSCI WealthBench, Morningstar Direct and Factset strongly preferred
  • Under general supervision, performs advanced quantitative analyses and models development to support decision-making by running quantitative strategies.
  • Analyzes and develops new model frameworks by supporting the line of business. Refines, monitors, and reviews existing models. Conducts on-going communication with model owners and model developers during the course of the review. Works with large data to create models.
  • Performs quantitative analysis and develops reports. Performs qualitative and quantitative assessments of all aspects of models including theoretical aspects, model design and implementation as well as data quality and integrity. Analyzes complex data and associated quantitative analysis.
  • Uses quantitative tools and techniques to measure and analyze model risks and reaches conclusions on strengths and limitations of the model.
  • Prepares and analyzes detailed documents for validation and regulatory compliance, using applicable templates.
