As the lifeline of the business, our I.T. teams provide reliable technology that runs the day-to-day operations across retail, digital, head office, stockrooms and supply chain.

The IT Applications Support Analyst role is responsible for the entire incident management process for application support queries. This role supports the overall Brown Thomas Arnotts IT function providing technical expertise across the retail and other I.T. business applications

KNOW WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• A relevant 3rd Level Qualification (IT, eCommerce, Supply Chain)
• 3-5 Years technical support experience
• Experience with SQL would be a significant advantage
• Ability to provide 1st and 2nd line support and resolution and provide key details when escalating to internal or partner service desk
• Experience managing complex scenarios with multiple partners to ensure the overall business SLA is achieved
• Ability to direct, interact and share technical issues with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
• Excellent analytical, problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise effectively in order to resolve issues and manage and analyse complex data
• Ability to adapt to new technology platforms quickly
• Competent in Microsoft Windows, Office suite
• Experience with batch, Unix, Power Shell Scripting skills
• Experience in file transfer, encryption technologies
• Knowledge of VB.net, Excel VBA
• Proven experience in supporting handheld devices
• Experience of supporting retail facing websites, integrated order management & fulfilment systems and Oracle based merchandising systems would be a significant advantage
