It Environment Management Specialist

Description:

To manage EMS test environments so that they are built consistently, integrated with BoI's CI/CD pipelines and use BoI's strategic set of dev/build/test/deploy strategic toolset.

The role involves working closely with existing development teams and the newly formed DevOps Centre of Excellence (DCOE) building defining and building new capabilities.

In this Role, you will

• Report to the Head of Environment Management Services
• Work closely with project managers to understand their test infrastructural and application business requirements for new and existing projects, developing effective working relationships and ongoing management processes for the various projects.
• Provide project leadership in order to implement initiatives into an operational status, following established release, change, and quality management principles.
• Work to re-assure, and be one step ahead, of projects ensuring their test environment requirements are met within agreed quality, time and cost metrics.
• Coordinate all environment build and application deployment activities across the various EMS disciplines (environment build, Dev/Ops tooling, DBA, Middleware)
