It Infrastructure And Support Lead

 

Description:

Reporting to the IT Director you will be responsible for providing the day-to-day maintenance & support, for the delivery of changes and improvements to the IT infrastructure environment.

 

Overview – Two key parts to this role are

1. General IT support of all standard IT Services

2. Technical lead on infrastructure, cloud and networking changes, specifically in Azure and Cisco environments

 

The ask is that the ideal candidate

  • 5 years in supporting all standard hardware and software IT services to level 2 – M365, Windows environment.
  • configuring and maintaining/supporting Azure environments (with exposure to Azure Virtual Desktop configuration & support)
  • Networking - Cisco networks (Firewall/LAN/WLAN/VPN).
  • Security – Good IT security knowledge

 

Ideally the candidate would have some Microsoft, MS Azure Certifications and/or Cisco certifications (e.g. CCNA).

 

Background to include some - -

Strong IT Technical and service delivery supporting

  • hardware and software configuration, application change management, software application configuration, and day-to-day maintenance of an IT environment.
  • M365, active directory (AD), SharePoint/Team/one Drive, server virtualization technologies, Cloud technologies (Azure, WVD/AVD), networking (LAN, WAN, WLAN), storage management, data security, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Sys Admin, configuration and support - Microsoft OS (Windows & Servers), SQL databases, data backup/ recovery and file & print services administration.
  • Support mobile, desktops, servers, printers & telecom components.
