During the internship period the candidate will combine multiple roles including

• Project administrator (EDI project)
• Project Deliverables (BI project)
• Business analyst (BI)
• Software engineer (BI)
• Understand Alexion Strategy and a role of all organizational units in its execution
• Explore Alexion’s IT organization
• Understand the role of IT systems in PharmaCo and Lifesciences
• Familiarize with elements of the pharma specific SDLC (System Development Lifecycle)
• Get a practical introduction into modern Project Management in IT (Alexion’s PMO processes)
• Familiarize with a modern example of a Business Intelligence Platform, i.e. Alexion Data Platform (ADP) stack
  • ADP core
  • Jupyter
  • Hadoop, Hive, Hue
  • QlikSense
• Experience with end-to-end business solution development in an ADP platform
• V-model and its application to GxP systems validation
• User Requirements Engineering
• Functional and Technical requirements authoring
• Business Writing (MS Word) and Reporting (MS PowerPoint)
• Managing Extract-Transform-Load cycle
• SQL language
• Practical Project Management
