Description:
The role will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing scalable, efficient and cost-effective IT solutions that align with the organisation’s business strategy. You will work with the different teams to understand requirements, design systems architecture and ensure technical alignment with business objectives.
The Person
- Lead the design and development of IT systems and infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, security and reliability.
- Create detailed architectural designs and blueprints that meet business requirements and technical standards.
- Ensure systems are aligned with enterprise IT architecture guidelines and that solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, challenges and opportunities.
- Translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
- Define and document architecture patterns and components that will be used in system designs.
- Oversee the implementation and integration of IT solutions, guiding technical teams through the process.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets and quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to development and IT teams.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across IT systems, including architecture, performance and security.
The Person
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in IT architecture, software development or system integration roles.
- Deep understanding of IT architecture and expertise in designing, implementing and maintaining scalable IT systems.
- Ability to think creatively and propose technical solutions to meet business challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience leading technical teams or guiding project delivery teams, providing architecture oversight.
- A proactive, solution-focused attitude with the ability to think critically and independently.
