It Support Engineer

 

Description:

A well known multinational company based in South Dublin are looking to hire a IT Support Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis and play a critical role in supporting users and leading office set ups.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide frontline and field IT support.
  • Install new computers and network equipment in site offices, including international locations (UK and EU).
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for First Line Support.
  • Provide occasional on-site Level 1 support.

 

Must have:

  • Strong Networking Skills and Ideally CompTIA Cert
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems (Windows 10)
  • Knowledge of iOS / Android and MDM platforms (Intune)
  • Microsoft Server / Active Directory environment exp
  • Experience managing end users in Office365.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking.
  • Multi-site Active Directory administration
  • Familiarity with Citrix, Fortigate, Cisco, CheckPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of Cisco switches (concepts of VLANs, subnets, trunks).
  • Basic PC hardware experience
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
