Our junior schedulers will support and be directed by senior project managers and senior schedulers. You will assist with the administration and build of schedules within a client organisation. You will compile data from schedule submissions and learn to critique same using existing guidelines. You will assist experienced project schedulers interrogate schedule submissions to assist in the day-to-day status reporting for projects. Training in the use of Primavera and related scheduling tools will be provided to you to assist in your professional development.
 

  • Supporting the Planning Engineer in developing and maintaining detailed Schedules in P6 & Microsoft Project.
  • Supporting management of sub-contractor programs in line with the master schedule specification.
  • Assimilate and interpret information from project documentation.
  • Understand planning techniques and developing them into a working program with support & guidance of the Planning Engineer.
  • Assist Project Team members interrogate schedule submissions.
  • Compile, with the assistance of the Senior Scheduler, concise narratives, phasing, reports and supporting documents for input into quality submissions for projects.
  • Utilise several planning techniques and tools to communicate the program effectively.
  • Contribute, support and communicate program information and risk issues to operational teams in a variety of formats.
  • Contribute to collaborative planning workshops with clients, operational teams and subcontractors (depending on Project requirements).
  • Update and monitor project progress, compile reports against project and contract requirements.
  • Assist in introducing and analyse change in programs and support the commercial teams.
  • Evaluate subcontract & other programs.
  • Comply with business processes and systems.
  • Maintain awareness of latest scheduling techniques.
