Junior Recruiter

Description:

As a Junior Recruiter here at Giant, you will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to source, interview, and hire candidates for CG productions. You will be responsible for updating and maintaining candidate pipelines for current and future vacancies via internal systems. You will also be responsible for working with department supervisors and leads to source, review, screen, and interview candidates.

Position Responsibilities

• Liaise with the Talent Acquisition Manager to manage the recruitment lifecycle from first contact to completion.

• Source potential candidates through online company career portals, recruitment sites, job boards, and social platforms, as well as print media, posters, and flyers, when required.

• Manage and document hiring processes through internal tracking systems.

• Evaluate candidates via calls or emails, as well as facilitate pre-interview assessments.

• Actively network with candidates and industry connections, market mapping, and using various databases and social media.

• Generate leads from interactions and connections with industry professionals and keep up to date with market and industry trends.

• Provide candidates with consistent feedback through the recruitment process.

• Schedule interviews and follow-ups accordingly with candidates and key company stakeholders such as interviewers, managers, and other studio and department leads.

• Support a collaborative and creative environment that produces awesome Giant projects, including coaching and mentorship to department heads and production and art teams.

Position Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in recruitment or interest in recruitment required.

• Exceptional ability to screen candidates compile shortlists, and interview candidates.

• Experience in creating awareness of the company brand and establishing professional relationships with candidates.

• Experience in the Animation/VFX industry is a plus.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to manage your own time.
