Junior Reward Analyst

 

Description:

CRH is looking for a Junior Reward Analyst. The candidate will join the Global Reward team and will work closely with the wider Reward contacts, in addition to many other HR stakeholders such as the HR Information Systems and HR Operations teams. This role will support the Global Reward team across all areas, and in particular with our compensation management system and reward related data management. There is opportunity to grow in the role as technology and data are increasingly important in supporting the HR function. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Executive Remuneration but will work closely with all employees in Global Reward, HR, HRIS, Payroll, IT, Finance, and the Company Secretary Office. The role is based in Dublin.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Support the ongoing maintenance of the compensation management system. This includes significant user acceptance testing, general project support, developing and updating training material for end users, and supporting workshops / training sessions.
  • Support with any roll-out of enhancements to the system and work closely with any new HRIS developments and embedding of HR systems. This may include system set-up, testing, process mapping, data alignment, educating, and communicating of the new system to Finance, HR, Payroll, and other stakeholders.
  • Support in the preparing of communication material for on-going Global Reward events, such as webinars, emails, presentation PowerPoint decks, calendars and other visuals showing key dates and trackers.
  • Work with Reward and HR to support the annual compensation review cycle, specifically around data quality, data checking, data collection, and data input to our systems.
  • Prepare reward market data for analysis, including data collection for CRH participation in the annual salary surveys for submission to our providers.
  • Update yearly data sets to our compensation management system, such as market data and budget. Maintain FX rates quarterly.
  • Assist with the updating of the ‘employer cost per employee’ report annually, seeking local employer social security, employer pension, allowances, and benefit information.
  • Support with the administration, preparation, and data validation of files for ad-hoc requests and the end of year cycle, with other departments as required. General alignment of data between systems.
  • Support with data collection as required.
  • Support in the data gathering and administration of mandatory reporting requirements.
  • Ensure files are returned accurately, in one generic form, and timely when required.
  • Handle confidential data with care and ensure all necessary security measures are taken.
  • Develop and execute necessary audit queries for HR data integrity.
  • Deal with any other ad hoc projects that involve HR systems or data automation of any kind, in close alignment with HR Leadership Team stakeholders
