Kdb Lead Engineer

They are looking for a senior level software engineer to lead the data capture, storage, and access team where kdb is the core technology. You’ll be responsible for the overall design and implementation of the system as well as managing junior developers.

Experience Needed

5+ years kdb experience. Experience designing and implementing reliable, stable, and performant kdb systems. Experience in other object oriented programming languages. Good experience in hands-on development and deployment of various kdb components into production environments – dev work on feed handlers, ticker plants, RDB/HDB, gateways/load balancing and similar.

Analysis and debugging skills in support of active production data systems. Some experience working in an Agile team. Comfortable discuss challenges and solutions with tech teams, quants, trading business leads. Familiar with current dev-ops tools and best practices (ie Maven, Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket, JIRA etc)

Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

The role is based in Dublin city centre with Hybrid work arrangements available. Candidate must be eligible to work in Ireland/EU.
