Purpose Of The Role

This is a supporting role to the Account Management Team where you will assist in the implementation, coordination and administration of the Sales administration within a fresh food business.

This function interacts with the procurement, sales, operations, marketing & Finance departments internally & creating solid working relationships is crucial. The ability to communicate to get things done internally is very important. The Sales Support Administrator interacts within our Customer Accounts and must manage the process of achieving objectives while maintaining relationships.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
 

  • Support National Account Manager in the implementation of the Business strategy and annual sales plan to each customer
  • Provide administration support - preparation of excel spreadsheets, & MS PowerPoint presentations.
  • Organise new lines, barcodes, flash labels pricelists for customers
  • Provide concise and accurate customer information internally
  • Report on updates on promotion starts of campaign and provide cessation times
  • Set up product and customer information on KBS system
  • Assist with customer and internal queries
  • Releasing of customer orders in KBS by checking and matching requirements from customers
  • Produce up to date shortage reports, investigate shortages and inform customer of shortages / follow ups
  • Generate sales reports from KBS / Diver
  • To liaise regularly with the National account manager, administration support team and commercial team to understand & react to weekly changes in availability, quality & pricing.
  • Provide an excellent level of service and develop long term relationships with the customer
  • Ad-hoc duties / projects as required.

  • Reliable and accurate shortage and supply reports to customers
  • Timely communication to customers – positive feedback from them
  • Timely uploads and management of customer portals
  • Strong skills built over time of KBS, Qlikview and customer portals
