Job Introduction

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join the Technical Support Team at the Tullamore Distillery, where we produce Irish Whiskey Spirit at our Grain to Glass facility. You will provide practical analytical support to maintain and enhance the quality and efficiency of all areas of distillery operations. You will ensure the quality of our new make and mature whiskey products. You will work alongside our stakeholders to support innovation projects while ensuring full conformance and compliance with all relevant product, food and feed regulations are adhered to.

Main Responsibility

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysis of in process materials and finished products, through a range of analytical parameters, in accordance with standard procedures and to schedule. They will ensure that all results recorded and reported are accurate and valid, and communicated to key stakeholders in a timely and appropriate manner. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the routine maintenance of analytical laboratory instrumentation to ensure accuracy and consistency in results. There will also be a requirement to support delivery of project work carried out within the Technical Team and to liaise regularly with internal and external stakeholders.

You will be grounded in strong values with a highly effective communication style.

A background in analytical chemistry (Gas Chromatography and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) with experience of method development, method validation and data verification is essential. Previous industry experience is preferable.
