Lead Software Engineer

I'm working with an industry leading software house in Limerick who are seeking to hire an ambitious Lead Software Engineer due to growth of their business and expansion of their engineering team

They are looking to speak to highly experienced Linux Software Engineers who have a deep knowledge of everything from Linux OS to User Space and Kernel. With my clients solutions being best-in-class, they are looking for someone with outstanding problem solving abilities and an analytical mindset

As their Lead Engineer, you will have technical ownership over future development and there is a clear path for progression for ambitious candidates

What You Need

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related discipline
• 7+ years' relevant industry experience
• Expert in C programming
• Expert in Linux OS
• Commercial exposure to Linux Kernel and User Space
• Strong networking background (TCP/UDP)
• Knowledge of Security Protocols (SSL/HTTP) desirable
• Knowledge on Virtualization and Driver Implementation very desirable
