Description:
The Learning & Organisation Development Lead will design and implement learning initiatives that enable Avery Dennison Medical to evolve and develop; identifying the current and future skill requirements of the organisation, creating learning interventions (through digital and other means) to meet the diverse needs of the workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess both individual, departmental and organisational learning and development needs.
- Develop training content training courses and material for production roles
- Create learning content and assess relevant learning and development options.
- Manage training budgets and forecast current and future costs.
- Identify skills gaps and future learning requirements.
- Coordinate the logistics of training sessions both on and off site.
- Identify external training partners where appropriate
- Evaluate and measure the success of learning interventions and report to senior management.
Qualifications
- Degree level or postgraduate qualifications are desirable, particularly in a relevant field including an BSc degree in learning and development.
- Previous experience of managing learning and development initiatives is essential.
- 3+ years experience designing, implementing, and evaluating a variety of training solutions.
- Experience designing and delivering training in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and organisation skills.
- Adept at influencing others, problem-solving, and offering pragmatic solutions.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and reporting skills.
