Description:
This is a great opportunity to work in a progressive professional solicitors’ practice. You will work with an experienced finance team using an advanced integrated computer accounting system.
Duties:
You will be one of 5 staff reporting to the CFO and Accounts Manager.
A mixture of Legal Accounts Junior and Legal Invoice Clerk tasks is performed throughout the month. Such as:
Preparing draft invoices – Liaising with Solicitors and Legal Execs – issuing invoices to clients
Reporting on Debt Recovery (DR) monies recovery to clients – Processing Remittance to clients of DR monies received – Banking transaction support and authorisation for all members of the team. Weekly Reporting clients each week – Download of Bank Statements for various departments
Responsible to one key client for Reporting, Remittances, and Invoicing
About you:
Leaving Certificate with good academic background and/or a proven track record in admin/finance
MS Office computer skills (particularly Excel) is an essential requirement.
Excellent administration skills.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
A strong interest in developing a career in legal accounts.
Experience in a legal firm an advantage but not essential – work ethic and professionalism are more important
