Sounds great! What will my day-to-day look like?
- As a Legal Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in responding to legal and policy inquiries, ensuring compliance, and supporting operational processes.
- Working closely with internal partners and external stakeholders, you will help manage workflows, assist in identifying process deficiencies, and provide essential support to leadership and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond clearly to process and policy questions from external parties and internal partners.
- Identify legal deficiencies in processes and assist in resolving policy misalignments.
- Conduct thorough research and leverage data to support escalations and operational risk analysis.
- Assist full-time employees (FTEs) with operational projects and workflow management.
- Support leadership with requests for operational workstreams and other tasks as needed.
What do I need?
- BA/BS degree with at least 3 years of experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or in a similar role within a law firm or corporate legal/policy department.
- Proficiency with computer systems, internet technology, and software (e.g., MS Office, Google Suite).
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Fluency in reading and analyzing legal documents in Portuguese and Spanish.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage tasks independently and efficiently, even under pressure.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with sound judgment and confidentiality handling.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
