Description:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and results-driven Regional Business Manager to manage the Leinster territory for a leading company in the FMCG sector. This role will be responsible for overseeing multiple sales channels, including On Trade, Off Trade, and Out of Home (OOH). You will take ownership of the territory’s performance, focusing on key metrics such as volume, revenue, visibility, and execution across all relevant channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Territory Leadership: Take full responsibility for performance across the On Trade, Off Trade, and OOH channels, delivering strong results in volume, revenue, and visibility.
- Field Team Management: Directly lead the On Trade and OOH field sales teams, while providing indirect support to the Off Trade channel.
- Sales Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing sales team by developing key competencies in selling, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align on commercial strategies, events, and overall territory goals.
Primary Focus:
- On Trade and OOH (70% of time):
- Set and implement quarterly KPIs to drive performance.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of outlet audits.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and groups.
- Analyze promotional investments and refine spending to maximize ROI.
- Off Trade (30% of time):
- Provide strategic input on key Off Trade performance metrics such as distribution and market share growth.
- Support head office relationships with key accounts and wholesalers.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 4+ years of sales management experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in the On Trade channel.
- Strong understanding of the FMCG industry, particularly in Leinster’s retail and bar landscape.
- Commercially astute, with a track record of success in driving growth and managing sales teams.
- A resilient self-starter with a results-driven, entrepreneurial attitude.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Full, clean driver’s license and eligibility to drive in Ireland.
