Level 2 Systems Administrator

Description:

Due to continued expansion our client are looking for a Systems Administrator to join their Managed Cloud Services Team. The successful applicant will be working within a constantly evolving and exciting multi-customer multi-technology IT environment!

The Role

You will be expected to:

• Work within the Managed Services team who’s procedures are based on ITIL framework
• Work alongside business managers and technical experts to support and when appropriate add input to optimise client solutions
• Carry out investigations and diagnosis, establish failing component, confirm impact and identify any events that may have been a contributing factor
• Engage in Resolution and Recovery, reducing impact where you can
• Coordinate other ICT teams or third parties and act as an escalation point for these when necessary
• Engage in provisioning of Servers and Storage
• Carry out security vulnerability remediation on Windows and vSphere environments
