If you are enthusiastic about working in a client-driven environment, this is the role for you. We are looking for an initiative-taking Life and Pensions Administrator to provide essential support to our growing team and contribute to delivering outstanding service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
· Client & Product Support: Provide administrative and client support for a range of life cover products, including term life insurance, whole of life policies, critical illness, and PHI. Ensure clients are fully informed and that both new applications, conversions of existing benefits and claims are processed efficiently maintaining communication between clients and insurance providers.
· Pension & Investment Administration: Support clients in managing establishing and managing their Pension policies during both the accrual, claim and drawdown phases. Ensuring timely processing of client requests and ensuring all compliance procedures are followed. Assist with investment products such as Managed Funds, Investment Bonds, and tracker bonds for both regular and single premium investments.
· Client Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and process new business documentation for a variety of life insurance products, pensions, and investment plans, ensuring they meet all relevant compliance standards. Collaborate closely with clients, financial advisors, and third-party providers (life companies, pension trustees, investment firms, and insurers) to ensure all processes are completed accurately and on time.
· Customer Service & Issue Resolution: Function as the key point of contact for clients regarding their life, serious illness, and PHI cover, addressing queries and ensuring clients receive the appropriate support. Manage client inquiries related to their pension plans (both regular and single premium) and investments, helping with transfers, withdrawals, and general policy management.
· Reporting & Account Management: Regularly generate and distribute client reports on life cover policies, serious illness cover, PHI, pension balances, and investment performance, ensuring clients are kept up to date with their financial progress.
· Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with the administration team to ensure all transactions adhere to industry regulations and internal company policies. Collaborate with the financial planning team to deliver a holistic approach to clients’ financial needs, ensuring a seamless experience across life insurance, pensions, and investments.
What We are Looking For:
· Experience & Knowledge: A solid background in administration, preferably within financial services, with exposure to regulated products such as pensions, life insurance, and investment solutions.
· Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain exceptional attention to detail in a demanding environment.
· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with a client-focused approach and the ability to build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues.
· Initiative-taking Learner: An ardent desire to pursue professional development through industry exams (such as QFA certification) and continue building on your expertise.
· Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Broker Information Systems) and an adaptive learner of additional in-house systems.
· Collaborator: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while also working independently when needed.
