Management Accountant

Description:

Our client is an award-winning Hospitality and FMCG Group, looking for a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their high-performance team. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Finance, benefit from strong training and gain exposure to month-end activities with the view of taking ownership of some group entities. You will motivate more junior team members and grow in a supportive environment with strong work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting the Head of Finance in implementing best in class finance processes

- Assisting in the preparation of monthly/quarterly and year end accounts

- Bank recs, inter-company recs and group reporting

- Process VAT returns, journal postings and accruals

- Monitor debtors and creditors

Key Skills:

- Relevant 3rd level qualification and pursuit of professional exams (qualified Accounting Technician, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)

- Demonstrated experience in accounts prep to trial balance stage

- Strong IT skills (Excel essential, Quickbooks experience an advantage)

- Can do attitude with a desire to learn and grow alongside a team

- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
