Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing a variety of health datasets and turning them into relevant information and insights.
The Management Information Analyst will support the Data Analytics management function aligning to the HSE’s strategic priority to become a data-driven and outcomes-oriented organisation.
- As a key member of the Data Analytics and Business Intelligence team, you will be responsible for the management and day to day maintenance of related reports and BI requests.
- Maintain Report Security & Access
- Testing to Live deployment and Version Control
- Investigate data-feed issues
- Review Data integrity, quality & validation
- Update/Modify deployed solutions
- Identifying Minimum Data Sets and ensuring they are valid and accurate
- Writing Ad-hoc SQL queries and look for automation opportunities.
- Manage the delivery of KPIs as a routine and core business objective.
- Development of supporting documentation for Reporting Projects including Flowcharts, Database Diagrams, Data Definitions, Project Specifications and User guides.
- Implement agreed changes in a co-operative and supportive manner, finding innovative ways to deliver improvements within resource limitations.
- To plan and work flexibly to deadlines as part of a team.
- To develop and support pro-active commitment to all communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- To liaise with OoCIO in relation to development and support of services.
- To participate in the implementation of Reporting Systems – local, regional or national.
- To keep up to date with technical and industry developments.
- Excellent communication both written and verbal.
- Any other duties that may be assigned.
