As a Security Architect, Manager level, you will work with a supportive and well-established team of over 90 Security professionals across UK&I. Internally, you will be part of the Security Leadership team and help define the strategy of the Security TC. About You As a Cloud Security Architect: • You know your clients’ data, security and availability needs inside and out. You have a unique ability to approach their problems from every angle and work with them side-by-side from the earliest groundwork to the final experience. • You will deliver transformative projects which define strategy, address technology issues, optimize business processes and controls, provide assurance, strengthen resilience capabilities, and reduce security risks We seek people who understand how to design and implement cloud security improvement strategies. The ability to move a client to a secure future state through control assessment, risk management, technology and solution selection, governance and impactful strategy is a core requirement. Your Skills : • You have delivered, or supported, a range of cloud security related projects specific to Microsoft Platforms. You understand best practice cloud principles, technologies, processes, and current industry technologies, threats, and trends well. • You can advise on and define cloud architecture for Microsoft Platforms, suitable technology and solutions for client needs, cloud security control requirements, availability, data security, network security, suitable benchmarks, monitoring, and management of cloud security risks. • You are comfortable making recommendations to clients and have experience engaging with medium - large organisations. Your Experience • You have proven experience working with a broad range of security and cloud standards such as ISO27017, CIS, Azure Benchmark etc. SME knowledge in a couple of industry sector and technical control areas (e.g. Network Security in FS) is a plus. • You have proven technical knowledge with Microsoft Security and Compliance, Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Network Security (e.g. NSG / ASG) and CI/CD security practices. • You know the wider Azure eco-system (e.g. Data Factory, Dataverse), and security baseline configurations. • You display strong consulting expertise - Stakeholder engagement, report writing, project management, sales enablement etc. • You can conduct cloud security and risk assessments, define strategy, form recommendations and are able to present to client stakeholders.
